TOP FUEL CHAMPS READY TO FIRE UP

More than 200 racers will head to Queensland’s premier drag racing facility this weekend for the Top Fuel Championships at Willowbank Raceway across March 25 and 26.
ANDRA Pro Series racing from the 7000 horsepower flame-throwing Top Fuel machines will be joined by the nitro-powered Top Bikes and highly developed naturally-aspirated Pro Stock Motorcycles in the chase for their national titles, while more than 190 sportsman racers of all shapes and sizes will hit the track.
Leading up to the event, fans will have the chance to get in on the action early, with three promotional events set to unfold across Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday the 24th of March (please see below for full details)
Glenfords Tools will be operating two promotional events, the first on Wednesday the 23rd of March at its Archerfield store before its Capalaba store gets in on the action on Thursday March 24.
From 12.00pm to 5.00pm on Wednesday (Archerfield) and Thursday (Capalaba) these stores will offer twenty percent off all stock from ANDRA Pro Series sponsor Sidchrome, before 2.30pm sees a sausage sizzle and games of Sidchrome Spanner Putt Putt get underway.
Sidchrome promotional staff will be on hand to help the customers compete between 2.30pm and 4.30pm, with prizes on offer including tickets to the Top Fuel Championships and also, for a lucky few, a money can’t buy chance to be on the startline during qualifying for Top Fuel at the Top Fuel Championships (Startline experience prize available only on Wednesday).
Thursday’s fun will then continue with a special fan night to be held at Ipswich’s Riverlink Shopping Centre from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday the 24th, including the chance to meet some of the stars of the ANDRA Pro Series during an autograph session, entertainment, and prizes to be won, including Willowbank Raceway merchandise and tickets to the Top Fuel Championships.
Tickets for the Top Fuel Championships are available now through www.willowbankraceway.com.au, and start at just $35 for adults per day, with students with ID gaining a discounted entry. Children 13 and under gain free entry to the event, which will kick off on Friday March 25 at 4.00pm with qualifying, including ANDRA Pro Series qualifying at 5.00pm, 7.00pm and 9.00pm. Saturday March 26 will see the on-track action get underway from 11.00am, with ANDRA Pro Series racing from 5.00pm and finals for all categories including the Pro racers from 8.30pm (all times approximate and subject to change)
While March is full of action, April also has its own fun to offer, with the all-new Queensland Auto Spectacular to be held at Willowbank Raceway on Sunday April 10.

The Queen’s Birthday long weekend event will take place across Friday June 10 – Monday June 13. Featuring all of the ANDRA Pro Series brackets as well as the Rocket All Stars Racing Series making their final fights for their championships, fans are guaranteed non-stop action.
