After yesterday’s announcement that Lamattina Top Fuel Racing has withdrawn from championship racing, the board and staff at Willowbank Raceway would like to thank the Lamattina family for their contributions and passion brought to the sport of drag racing.

With over 10 years of accomplishments, including three national championships, Lamattina Top Fuel Racing’s success and respect within the industry is unquestionable. Phil, Angelo, John and the entire LTFR team have always been great ambassadors for the sport, true role models and heroes to all drag racing fans.

Everyone at Willowbank Raceway would like to congratulate the team for all their success on and off the track and wish the entire family good luck for the future; the Lamattina Family will be greatly missed not only at Willowbank Raceway, but throughout Australia.
