WILLOWBANK GIVES BACK TO 58TH GULF WESTERN OIL WINTERNATIONALS COMPETITORS

Willowbank Raceway is proud to announce a special initiative for competitors attending the 58th Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, with every entered racer to receive $100 worth of event vouchers as a thank you for being part of Australia’s biggest drag racing event.

Operations Manager, Andrew Casos said that “from the start of my employment the Board has instructed us to look after our racer base, and this initiative is a further illustration on that commitment.  I couldn’t be more pleased when the Board announced this decision”.

Jane Smith the Competition Manager said “Fuel prices are giving everyone grief at the moment, so this is just our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re here for our racers.”

With almost 500 entries at this year’s event, Willowbank Raceway is given back a payout of almost $50,000 to our racer base as a thank you for continuing to support the track and the Gulf Western Oils Winternationals.

The vouchers can be used throughout the event across participating food vendors, Lifestyle Merchandise, the Raceway Bar, or towards the purchase of additional crew (if applicable) or car passes during the four-day spectacle from June 4–7.

With hundreds of racers travelling from across Australia and New Zealand to compete at the 58th running of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, the initiative is designed to show appreciation to the competitors who continue to make the event one of the most iconic and celebrated drag racing events in the world.
